Why Patron?
When I founded Patron Projects in 2024, I drew upon four decades of telecommunications experience, including installation, repair, project management, coordination, acquisition, and consulting. Throughout my career, my core principle has consistently been to represent, protect, and advocate for my clients. The word "patron" encapsulates this commitment, emphasizing my dedication to serving client interests in every project.
At Patron Projects, our approach is guided by four key attributes: Principled, Simple, Control, and Advocate for our clients. These foundational values ensure integrity, clarity, efficient oversight, and unwavering advocacy, fostering enduring partnerships built on trust and mutual success.

Traditionally, the term "patron" denotes someone who supports artists, institutions, or causes, often through financial contributions. In advocacy, this role expands to include active participation in promoting and sustaining efforts that align with the patron's values or interests. For instance, patrons may fund campaigns, provide platforms for awareness, or leverage their influence to effect policy changes.

“I have been working with Albert for the last 7 plus years. He has been able to provide project management, strategic technical direction, and thought-provoking conversation to continually move us in a positive direction. I view Albert as a member of my own team, and he supports us in the same manner. As you will see when working with Albert, he has a special way of supporting his clients. I assume that is why he named his company Patron Projects. What a great way to describe Albert. A patron whose clients come before everything. I certainly endorse Albert Slater not only from a technical viewpoint but also from a personal perspective.”
